We are open to considering candidates at all stages of their career, but we strongly prefer applicants with 2-3+ years of experience who are ready to step into a busy practice.
About the Role
As a General Dentist, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and providing comprehensive treatment for all aspects of general dentistry. You will play a vital role in educating our patients and maintaining the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including visual exams, digital radiography, and other diagnostic procedures.Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums, and related oral structures.Perform all phases of general dentistry, including but not limited to :Restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges)Endodontics (root canal therapy)Exodontia (simple and surgical extractions)Prosthodontics (dentures, partials)Preventive services (cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments)Cosmetic procedures (teeth whitening, veneers)Administer local anesthesia effectively and comfortably.Develop comprehensive treatment plans and effectively present options to patients.Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records.Supervise and collaborate with dental hygienists and dental assistants.Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, and state-specific regulations.Commit to continuous professional development and staying current with dental best practices and technology.Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.Current and unrestricted South Carolina State Dental License or the ability to obtain one prior to employment.Current DEA registration (or eligibility).Current Malpractice Insurance (or eligibility).Preferred Experience : 2-3+ years of experience in a general practice setting.Excellent clinical skills and proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures.Exceptional chairside manner and strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and explain complex treatment plans.Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.What We Offer
