Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in California requiring CA licensure, BLS, ACLS, and scrub experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital setting
  • Handles cases including Orthopedic, Vascular, and Robotic surgeries
  • Day and evening shifts available, 4x10-hour shifts with various start times
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • Scrub experience is required for this position
  • Epic charting experience is preferred
  • Responsible for assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive nursing care
  • Develops and implements individualized plans of care considering psychological, sociocultural, and lifestyle factors
  • Acts as a liaison among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
  • Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance
  • Only 1 holiday requested off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
  • Completion of online modules during orientation is required
  • Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Returning staff must have been gone for at least 1 year to be considered

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • At least 2 years of recent OR nursing experience with Orthopedics, Vascular, or Robotic surgery
  • Scrub experience is required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
