Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU / CCU night shift position in Colorado, requiring strong CVICU skills and an active CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Cardiovascular ICU and Critical Care Unit at a smaller independent hospital
  • 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) with weekend rotation
  • Participation in the call rotation, with one call shift required every two weeks as needed
  • Must be willing to provide coverage in both CVICU and CCU
  • The hospital features two Cath Labs, including one hybrid lab
  • RN may float between CVICU and CCU units as needed
  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
  • First day ready CVICU experience is expected
  • Well-suited for those who want to work during Colorado's winter season
  • The facility offers newly remodeled housing options available for travelers, located close to the hospital

    • Requirements

  • Active Colorado or compact RN license in good standing
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care RN experience required
  • Strong CVICU experience is required
  • Flu vaccination required for assignments between October 1 and April 1, with no exemptions accepted
