Safety & Access Officer
Treviso Bay is seeking a dedicated and professional Safety and Access Officer to join our team full-time. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for our community. The Safety and Access Officer reports directly to the Director of Safety and Access and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Job Tasks / Duties
- Observe person(s) entering and leaving community and remain alert for suspicious persons or vehicles.
- Enforce community rules and regulations.
- Transport members and guests inside of the community.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Respond to emergencies and assist as needed; contact Director of Safety and Access and / or Police, Fire, or Ambulance (911) as needed.
- Administer CPR, AED, and First Aid, if necessary, until first responders arrive.
- Patrol facilities, neighbors during tour of duty.
- Note any deficiencies in community safety measures.
- Maintain accurate log of all safety and access activities.
- Conduct intermittent inspections of all community grounds, facilities and areas.
- Is familiar with emergency 911 notification procedures.
- Completes all other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Safety and Access.
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Experience in related job preferred.Must be able to remain alert throughout shift.Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations.Education and / or Experience
High School education or equivalent.Previous law enforcement and / or security experience desirable.Physical Demands and Work Environment
Frequent exposure to hot, humid and / or rainy conditions.Working conditions may be slippery or wet.May work in nighttime conditions.Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment that is typical for this position.Able to perform lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.Continuous standing and walking.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
