A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - ER Job Details : - Work day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM with maximum of one week RTO if needed - Schedule typically follows 7 on, 7 off pattern with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next - Shifts may change during contract and may need to cover day shift or mid shift based on facility needs - Minimum 2 years recent RN experience in emergency department specialty required - Rotate through 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit regularly - Assignments include Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening - May be assigned to different areas daily and rotated during shift based on patient volume - May assist with Covid testing and / or immunization clinics as needed - Expected to float to other qualified departments occasionally for patient care or task-oriented duties - Required certifications : American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification - Conscious sedation certification obtained through facility after confirmation with $105 fee - Orientation conducted on Mondays only Facility : This medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department with multiple specialized units including a main emergency department, fast track unit, and observation unit.
