Physician / Neurology / Michigan / Permanent / Vascular Neurologist opportunity in Kalamazoo, MI - teaching / research opps Job

Healthcare Group has an exciting oppo rtunity in southwest Michigan for a BC / BE vascular neurologist. Candidate will join our current team of four neurosurgeons, nine neurologists, two physiatrists, psychiatrist, two neurobehavioral psychologists and extensive Advanced Practitioner support for all subspecialties. Weekend call coverage rotation is a minimum of 6 weeks.

• The vascular neurologist is an employed position that is part of the physician led Medical Group with ability to pursue clinical research. Physicians also have opportunities for teaching and academic affiliation through Western Michigan University School of Medicine.
• Hospital located in Kalamazoo supports the neuroscience program with a 12 bed neurocritical care unit, state of the art bi-plane neurointerventional suite, 4 bed epilepsy monitoring unit, 48 bed neurovascular unit and an accredited neurodiagnostic lab.
• Hospital is ranked among the top five percent in the nation for neurosciences and neurosurgery and is recognized by Healthgrades as one of America s 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care and Spine Surgery. Bronson Methodist Hospital is a Level One Trauma Center and is accredited as a Comprehensive Stroke Center by the Joint Commission.
