Experience with CNC machine tool controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mori Seiki, Murata). Robotics programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc TP, Kawasaki AS / Block Step). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Comfortable with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and basic VB.NET / VBA / C++. Associate's or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology. Experience with CNC retrofits and automation integration. Production Saw & Machine specializes in innovative manufacturing solutions through personal attention to customer cutting and machining needs. We produce high and low-volume precision CNC-machined parts for automotive suppliers, military, industrial equipment, agricultural, and heavy truck industries. We have been family-owned and operated since our start in 1975. At PSM, we pride ourselves on being a family-style environment built on trust, respect, and genuine caring for one another.
About the Role :
To ensure the uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement of CNC and automated manufacturing systems through expert-level troubleshooting, control programming, and hands-on support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC electrical / control issues (boards, drives, HMIs, relays, etc.).
- Write, modify, and optimize PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
- Program and support robotics systems (Fanuc, Kawasaki, Yaskawa).
- Configure and troubleshoot HMIs, VFDs, and I / O networks (Ethernet / IP, DeviceNet, Profibus).
- Integrate automation into machining cells and support new equipment installations.
- Act as a bridge between maintenance and engineering teams.
- Support continuous improvement and automation expansion initiatives.
