Based in Southern California near the Los Angeles International Airport, The Marvin Group consists of Marvin Engineering (MEC), Marvin Test Solutions (MTS), and Marvin Land Systems (MLS). Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment. Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment. Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. Position Summary :
The Vice President of Information Technology (VP-IT) serves as the senior executive responsible for providing vision, leadership, and management to Marvin Group Information Technology (MGIT). The VP-IT directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to ensure cost effectiveness, service quality, and service delivery, and is responsible for all aspects of the Marvin's information technology.
The VP-IT serves as the major administrator of MGIT and is responsible for the management of the SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Microsoft 365 Government Cloud Computing, IT project management, file server and networking infrastructure, application software development, information security, and NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance.
The VP-IT oversees the review and analysis, coordination, and approval of computer-related purchases and upgrades and ensures that new applications and technologies are compatible with existing systems and are appropriately integrated into the enterprise architecture.
The VP-IT provides leadership and supervision of staff, budget oversight and development, and strategic planning and implementation for the Marvin Group.
