Job Title : Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Location : Louisiana, 71111

Pay : $2,400 per week (gross)

Schedule :

Day Shift : 40 hours per week

Rotation : 4-week schedule cycle — 5x8s for 3 weeks, 4x10s for 1 week

Call Requirements : 1–2 calls per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks

Contract Type : Travel / Contract Assignment

Position Summary :

We’re seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to join a dynamic cardiovascular team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and thrives in procedural and critical care settings.

Qualifications :

Licensure : Active RN license in good standing (state-specific or compact)

Certifications : BLS and ACLS (required)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

Preferred : Prior ICU or ER experience

Responsibilities :

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures

Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures

Administer medications and manage sedation per protocol

Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergent cases
