Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Desk Flex - Financial in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming and professional presence while assisting with access control and visitor management. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials, all while delivering outstanding customer service. In this important role, you will leverage your communication skills and attention to detail to support a secure environment. What You'll Do :

  • Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, employees, and guests at the location while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and / or credentials, helping to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document observations and / or incidents in detailed written reports, maintaining accurate records as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and assist with visitor inquiries to support smooth operations within the facility.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
