Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for acute care and swing bed coverage, with occasional outpatient responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital with swing bed and outpatient therapy coverage as needed
  • Patient caseload averages 8-10 patients per day
  • Responsibilities include coverage of both inpatient / swing beds and outpatient therapy when required
  • Uses Meditech Expanse for inpatient and swing bed charting, and ReDoc for outpatient documentation
  • Day shifts scheduled from 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., five days per week
  • Main responsibilities include evaluation and therapeutic intervention for acute care, swing bed, and outpatient populations
  • Team-based environment with assignment variations based on patient and department needs
  • Familiarity with Meditech Expanse and ReDoc preferred
  • First-time travelers will be considered

    • Requirements

  • Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Ability to float between acute care, swing bed, and outpatient therapy settings
  • Must provide a copy of driver's license and social security card upon request
