Salary :

The Bridges / Structures Forman is responsible for organizing and directing on-site crew work. This position ensures the crews are in compliance with the companys safety program and ensures that the work performed meets or exceeds the quality requirements of the client.

Location

This position works at various construction job site locations in and around Columbus, OH. Both daily and overnight travel may be required.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

• Completes necessary 2 week look-ahead to plan work with Superintendent(s)
• Understands and enforces company safety policies
• Conducts daily JSA to recognize safety hazards associated with the daily tasks and educates crews of hazards
• Provides oversight direction to crews and / or subcontractors
• Prepares schedules for needed manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors
• Ensures quality of work performed by crews
• Works with senior foremen and / or superintendents to complete short interval schedules
• Completes daily timesheets and field reports
• Ensures crews are working at maximum efficiency during shift hours and leads by example
• Inspects incoming materials for quality, accuracy, completeness, and contract compliance
• Works as part of a team with management, supervision, safety, and other personnel
• Other tasks as assigned
