Job Summary :
The Warehouse Office Assistant supports both warehouse operations and administrative functions by handling clerical tasks, maintaining records, and assisting with day-to-day logistics. This role ensures smooth coordination between warehouse staff, management, and external partners while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in documentation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to warehouse and operations teams.
- Prepare, process, and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
- Enter and update data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and spreadsheets.
- Assist with scheduling deliveries, pickups, and coordinating with carriers.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate with vendors and customers.
- File and organize paperwork including invoices, BOLs, and packing slips.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies for the warehouse office.
- Generate and distribute daily / weekly reports for warehouse activity.
- Support HR and safety compliance with employee timesheets, training records, and documentation.
- Assist warehouse staff with clerical needs related to orders, inventory, and logistics.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.1–2 years of administrative or office assistant experience (warehouse / logistics experience a plus).Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit, stand, and move around in a warehouse / office environment.May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs when assisting with paperwork or office supplies.
