JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
Performs a variety of reporting and data entry functions to maintain the integrity of HR data within the organization’s various HR platforms. This includes collecting, organizing and ensuring accuracy of employee data as well as generating reports and supporting other HR initiatives.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The HR Operations team focuses primarily in the areas of leave and disability management, interpreting policies, and establishing procedures in partnership with the Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Employee Relations teams at Samaritan Health Services. Their goal is to support SHS Human Resources initiatives while providing excellent customer service to employees, management, volunteers, candidates and visitors.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree and / or certification in Human resources preferred.
One (1) year experience in a position of similar responsibility and complexity required.
Experience and / or training in Excel required.

Communication - Effective written and verbal communication skills to perform group presentations, tactfully discuss issues, and listen to and understand complex information / situations. Ability to work with all levels within the organization, facilitate communication, and effectively document related activities.
Computer Literacy - Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and data management tools.
Problem Solving - Ability to identify problems, analyze related information, and apply policies and procedures. Skilled in information gathering and critical thinking.
Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
