    Position Title : Team Member

    Location : BLG Logistics, Inc. – Ladson I

    Reports To : Site Leader

    FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

    Position Summary

    The Team Member plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations. This position is designed to be cross-functional, and team members are encouraged and supported to gain experience across various roles within the operation.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Operational Responsibilities

    Details

    Attendance & Conduct

  • Maintain reliable transportation
  • Consistently report to work on time
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures
  • General Warehouse Tasks

  • Order picking, packing, sequencing, and labeling
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Staging and packaging of goods (shrink-wrapping, boxing, labeling)
  • Equipment & Facility Maintenance

  • Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on equipment
  • Keep work area clean and organized per 5S standards
  • Lockout / Tagout equipment when not in use
  • Transport waste to designated areas
  • Material Handling & Logistics

  • Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts, trucks)
  • Transport materials to assigned locations
  • Quality Assurance

  • Reject damaged or nonconforming materials upon receipt
  • Ensure only approved products are shipped
  • Support physical inventory counts and resolve discrepancies
  • Communication & Documentation

  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
  • Accurately complete shipping logs, transfer forms, and tracking documentation
  • Additional Expectations

  • Support production floor as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Be available for mandatory overtime, with or without notice
  • Qualifications

    High school diploma or GED required

    Experience

    1–3 months of relevant experience preferred; training provided

    Skills

  • Ability to multitask, Work apart of a team
  • Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and safety standards
  • Basic math and reading proficiency
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Certifications

    Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed)

    Reasoning & Judgment

    Ability to follow routine instructions and apply sound judgment in standard work situations
