Rheumatology Partnership Opportunity : Lake Charles, LA Located 1 hr to Beaumont, 2 hrs to Houston and 1 hr. to Lafayette, 30 minutes from the Gulf Experienced candidates and new grads welcome to apply Position Details Full-time Permanent Partnership from day 1, No buy-in 2 year guarantee at the MGMA median with bonus opportunity, all practice expenses, benefits and med mal covered under the guarantee Schedule during guarantee period : M-F, 8-5pm, you set your own schedule after the guarantee period Inpatient or Outpatient - Choose your practice Hospitalist services are available Only 2 FTE rheumatologist in the area (1 close to retirement) 2 to 3 month wait time for rheumatology services Join 32 physician partner group, 70 provider group Built-in referrals, 18 primary care providers Lab and imaging ancillary services in-house Call schedule take his / her own call, hospital has a hospitalist program for use = no call Daily patient census 25 up to 40 depending on the practice and physician - Patient volume allows up to 40 patients / day No infusion center onsite but contracts with Infusion Service when needed. Also, the hospital has an infusion center available to the group.
