Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician

Permanent Physician Position - Neonatology in Macon, GA

Join a thriving group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in Macon, Georgia! This practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility, which includes the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia, featuring a Level-III NICU and recognized as a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence. The new children's hospital opened in 2019 and provides comprehensive care with exceptional equipment and staff support.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide exceptional care in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
• Participate in daily rounding, with on-call responsibilities from home every other night.
• Utilize advanced services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling.
• Collaborate with readily available subspecialty support and experienced Nurse Practitioners.
• Engage in clinical appointments associated with Mercer Medical School.
• Serve in a designated Level-I trauma center and one of six regional perinatal / neonatal centers in Georgia.
