JOB OVERVIEW Job Title : Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Type : Locum Tenens Location : Harrisburg, PA Service Setting : Hospital Operating Rooms and Offsite Anesthesia Locations Coverage Type : Clinical Only Coverage Period : 08 / 18 / 2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule : MonFri; 10- and 12-hour shifts required; 20 shifts / month expected; NO 16s; occasional night or weekend shifts may be offered On-Call Shift Schedule : None COVERAGE DATES Start date August 18, 2025 Ongoing need due to turnover vacancy PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics : Adults only Phone Consults : No Case Mix : Total joints, bariatric, robotic, spine, urology, plastics, ENT, endoscopy, occasional IR or brachytherapy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System : Epic Office Equipment Available : Anesthesia workstations, OR and ENDO setup Specialty Backup Available : MD anesthesiologists, SRNA students Support Staff Available : Full anesthesia team, 1 : 3 staffing ratio Reason for Coverage : Turnover Vacancy PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered Rate : TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES General CRNA duties in surgical and procedural anesthesia Regional anesthesia experience a plus but not required JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license required Board : Board Certified CRNA DEA : Not required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPR Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Must be willing to work 8- and 10-hour shifts; unwilling candidates will not be considered. Desire to integrate long-term with the department; participation in meetings encouraged DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver anesthesia care in 11 ORs, 2 ENDO suites, and occasional offsite locations (IR, brachytherapy) Participate in cases including ortho, bariatrics, robotics, urology, ENT, and plastics Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and SRN
