Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location. Must be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation. IV therapy / Phlebotomy, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Care, Infant / neonatal arrest, Telemetry Interpretation, Labor and Delivery Management, Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Hemorrhage / shock, Recover C-Section, Work Settings, Antepartum, High Risk Antepartum, Medication & Administration, Anticoagulants, Anticonvulsants, Antihypertensives, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Prostaglandins, Terbutaline, Neonatal Care in Delivery Room, APGAR scores, ID / Security Banding, Neonatal Resuscitation, Radiant Warmers / Thermoregulation, Antepartum Care and Procedures, NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Postpartum Care of the Patient with, Bladder Distension, Cesarean Section, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Vaginal Delivery, Postpartum Care and Procedures, Episiotomy / Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion / management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care, Surgical Case / Procedures, Cervical Cerclage, D & C, Tubal Ligation, Newborn Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Pain Management, Epidural Anesthesia, General Anesthesia, IV conscious sedation, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Use of PCA (IV), Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions / PPE, Vaccine Administration, Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Use of External Fetal Monitoring Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
