Description :

We are seeking a dependable Class A CDL driver to handle local and regional freight for our internal operations. This role begins as part-time with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods over long or short distances
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, shipping department, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads as necessary
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
  • Proven experience as a Class A truck driver, with a strong safety record
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Ability to operate and maintain large commercial vehicles
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to load, unload, and handle cargo as needed
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required
