Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Stepdown RN with a MO or compact RN license and at least two years of recent nursing experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital stepdown unit
  • Day shift schedule : 3x12-hour shifts from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00
  • Patient population includes stepdown-level acuity cases
  • Floating may be required to units of similar or lower acuity
  • Charting is completed using Epic EMR
  • Orientation modules are required and completed during onboarding
  • Stepdown RNs are responsible for delivering care to patients transitioning from intensive care
  • Local candidates are accepted within a 50-mile radius
  • Free parking is provided for staff
  • Return staff must have a gap of one year before returning as a traveler

  • Active MO or compact RN license, must be in hand prior to start
  • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Candidates must have been gone for at least one year if previously employed at the facility
