EHS Compliance Manager

My client is a leading North American producer of specialty chemicals. Their products are used in a wide range of applications, including food, personal care, home care, and industrial products. They also provide sustainable solutions to industries looking to integrate natural ingredients into their products. Job Description
- Manage and oversee the company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Lead emergency response, spill response, fire safety, and incident command team organization.
- Develop and manage personal safety programs, including training, auditing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Oversee regulatory compliance programs for hazardous waste, water / wastewater pretreatment, and air emissions tracking / reporting.
- Serve as primary liaison with regulatory agencies including OSHA, EPA, MassDEP, DHS, MWRA, and local authorities.
- Create and deliver training protocols to ensure employee awareness of safety, environmental policies, and compliance requirements.
- Support and manage projects with a focus on safety and regulatory improvements.
- Maintain and update systems such as MSDS / SDS management and documentation related to EHS compliance.
