This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL facility.
The Legal & OEC (Office of Ethics & Compliance) Project Manager is responsible for developing, executing, managing, and supporting strategic Legal & OEC projects and initiatives.
Drives and coordinates multiple Legal / OEC projects, balancing scope, resources, and shifting priorities to ensure timely and successful executionInitiates and plans projects in collaboration with Legal and OEC leadership and / or project leads; facilitates alignment on goals, objectives, and key deliverablesMonitors project performance against project plans and budgets; evaluates impact of any scope changes, and collaborates with project team to drive resolution of any project challenges while maintaining alignment with project objectivesDevelops and executes detailed project plans; secures necessary resources and ensures all activities are completed on time and within scopeCaptures lessons learned and facilitates project close-out, including final approval from project sponsors and stakeholdersProvides timely and accurate project updates to project team through reports and dashboards; supports decision-making with clear communication of status, risks, and milestones to project sponsors, leads and project teamsManages project resources effectively; assigns tasks based on team capabilities and availability, and escalates issues when neededEnsures roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, communicated, and understood across project teamsCollaborates with global, cross-functional teams, as needed, to achieve project objectivesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum seven years relevant experienceExtensive experience with project management and general business principles requiredConsistent and strong attention to detail, good judgement, and strong time management skillsExperience managing projects in complex, matrixed, global environmentsStrong written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to communicate and interact with colleagues across all levels of the organization, including senior leadershipProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsThe base pay for this position is $97,300.00 $194,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
