Crane Operator

Operates various types of cranes, such as mobile, portal, bridge, and fixed cranes. Equipment is used to lift and move material and to test crane. May grease, adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment. May operate trucks, heavy or light. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• High School education or equivalent
• Three years (five preferred) load lifting crane operating experience in a professional capacity with a safe operating record.
• Must possess a valid commercial drivers license (CDL) and be able to obtain government drivers license for size and type vehicles required.
• Must be able to pass a company physical and annual physical as required by Dept. of Transportation (DOT)
• Must have and wear at all times, hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards.
• Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements necessary for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
