Overview

Are you a Lean expert passionate about transforming an entire organization? Grip-Tite Manufacturing, a leader in foundation repair products and guy wire anchors, is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Manager to lead an enterprise-wide journey toward operational excellence. Based in Winterset, Iowa, and reporting to the CEO, you'll embed Toyota Production System (TPS) principles into the "Grip-Tite Way," driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and business processes including A / P, A / R, purchasing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Implement TPS tools (5S, Kanban, Jidoka, TPM, SMED) to optimize factory floor and business operations.
  • Lead Kaizen events and foster a continuous improvement culture across all departments.
  • Build and coach cross-functional teams to embed Lean principles into the "Grip-Tite Way."
  • Deliver Lean training to create a self-sustaining culture of excellence.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of TPS experience in manufacturing (steel fabrication / welding preferred) and business process improvement (A / P, A / R, purchasing, scheduling).
  • Expertise in Lean tools (5S, cellular manufacturing, Kanban, SMED, etc.).
  • Proven leadership in Kaizen events and building collaborative, Lean-focused teams.
  • Passion for enterprise-wide cultural transformation.
