Established over 50 years ago in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago, Heart Care Centers of Illinois (HCCI) is a private practice comprised of 29 Board Certified Cardiovascular Physicians who offer a complete spectrum of advanced cardiovascular care at 10 area hospitals and 6 surrounding offices. We stress the most current and proven innovations in the areas of diagnostic cardiac examination, cardiovascular intervention and surgery, and heart-healthy therapeutic options.

Job Highlights

Heart Care Centers of Illinois sees over 100,000 patients annually, offers in-office diagnostic testing and a full line of complex outpatient Arterial and Venous interventions in our outpatient Vascular Lab. Advanced services include the following clinics : Heart Transplant / Artificial Heart, TAVR, Advanced CHF, Pulmonary Hypertension, Venous Insufficiency, Severe Hypertension, and Lipids.

  • Full-time Interventional Cardiologist with focus on Coronary and bread and butter procedures. Opportunity is available for Structural and Peripheral procedures if physician has interest / training.
  • Collegial work environment that consists of 29 Cardiologists ( 15 IC, 5 EP, 2 HF, 7 NI), 8 APPs and over 200 support staff members.
  • Interventional services include :

    • all coronary procedures diagnostic and interventions

  • Peripheral upper / lower, venous, carotid and aneurysm
  • ASD / PFO closure
  • Structural including TAVR, Percutaneous Mitral Valve Repair, Percutaneous Tricuspid Valve Repair, Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Call responsibilities shared with other physicians.
  • Position will offer a base salary with additional bonuses and incentives.

    • Qualifications

  • B / C in Cardiovascular Medicine and B / C or B / E in Interventional Cardiology
  • Coronary procedures required. Interest and training in Structural and Peripheral procedures is plus.
  • Completion of a US Accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology program
  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
