Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Philadelphia, PA (19107) Estimated Weekly Pay : $2000-$2100 Setting : Acute Care – Medical-Surgical (Float Pool) Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (Night Shift) Hours per Week : 36 Duration : 8-week contract Employment Type : Local, On-Site Start Date : September 1, 2025 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience Experience floating to all Med / Surg units preferred BSN preferred Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse Med / Surg units, including Same Day Surgery, Detox, Bone Marrow Transplant, Mental Health, and IDD Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor patient progress, document nursing care, and update electronic health records accurately Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions Adapt quickly to changing unit assignments and varying patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment Apply now to join our Philadelphia healthcare team as a Med / Surg Float RN and take the next step in your nursing career!
