- are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing special education team.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and teacher consultation. This individual will be responsible for planning and providing speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, pragmatic, and / or language disorders. This individual will also be responsible for assessing students and providing therapeutic interventions to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with the students ability to derive full benefit from the educational program.
The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school of speech language pathology.Current PA license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience with students that have emotional, behavioral, and / or developmental disabilities.Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in the area of speech-language pathology.Demonstrate effective communication skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.Have a track record of being a team player and community minded.Have excellent time management skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently and problem solve.Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standardsJob Type : Full-time
