Management Consulting Director
The Management Consulting Director in Guidehouse's State and Local Government Practice leads delivery teams on high impact State & Local Government client engagements and driving business development activities.
Coordinate with client and project teams to develop innovative solutions to address state and local government priorities and needs.
Support the design and implementation of federal grant projects, including strategic planning, financial management, compliance and monitoring, data analytics and reporting, and closeout.
Lead the implementation of grants management technical tools and solutions.
Support clients with technical assistance and training on grant management topics.
Effectively leveraging project resources to accomplish tasks while providing regular feedback and coaching.
Driving business development activities including RFP responses and proposal development.
Ability to lead account planning and target new business opportunities that support relevant practice development goals and objectives.
Deliver knowledge on national trends and industry best practices.
The Management Consulting Director in Guidehouse's State and Local Government Practice requires critical thinking to solve problems and develop innovative solutions to client's management and operational challenges.
10+ years minimum of experience in management consulting with at least 5 years' experience in State & Local Government and / or the Public Sector.
Familiarity with grants management, including Federal compliance regulations, grants administration, program design, financial management, experience working with state and local government grantees.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college / university.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing projects and junior & mid-level staff.
Ability to travel to clients locations, GH Office locations and as needed to support business development activities.
The annual salary range for this position is $197,000.00-$328,000.00.
Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
