What you will do
Assisting Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician with conducting installation, maintenance and repairs on Sprinkler and Suppression life safety systems. Learn / Assist in the installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial and industrial application. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and / or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
How you will do it
Assist Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systemsFollow all safety policiesMaintain proper documentation for work performedMust adhere to company safety policies and proceduresFollow verbal and written instructionsCarry / move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical laborPerform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipmentMaintain a clean and safe work areaHave a positive attitude and the ability to learn quicklyWhat we look for
High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 18 years of ageValid Driver's License, and a dependable means of transportation to the employer's place of business and / or jobsite.Ability to work well with othersBe physically capable of performing the essential functions of the daily work, with or without a reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or othersMust be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in written formatPreferred
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals and operational / product manuals (this can be taught to employee in first 12 months).Understands the importance of providing quality service, inspection and technical installation support.Experience with hand tools (this can be taught to employee in first 12 months)HIRING HOURLY RANGE : $16.20 – $24.28 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
