About The Position

Barton Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Otolaryngology / ENT Surgery for a locum tenens position in California. This 120-day assignment requires coverage from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, starting on 10 / 13 / 2025. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all ENT outpatient cases, including return visits, follow-ups, and TMJ-related procedures. Experience with lump and bump clinics is beneficial. The role involves working with the Epic electronic health record system and focuses on managing outpatient visits for ENT / Otolaryngology / Head and Neck, taking weight off the surgeons and doctors. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment dates.

Job Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Manage all ENT outpatient cases
  • Conduct return visits and follow-ups
  • Perform TMJ-related procedures, including TMJ Botox
  • Handle ear tube, thyroid, and parathyroid cases
  • Participate in lump and bump clinic (if experienced)
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with surgeons, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and safety
