RESPONSIBILITIES :
Use PaceArt software to perform trans-telephonic checks as scheduled, interacting with patients and interpreting baseline event monitor transmissions accurately. Conduct continual halter scans in accordance with policies and procedures.Prepare and edit reports for Cardiologists. Schedule pacemaker monitoring appointments and facilitate follow-up care.Troubleshoot pacemakers by identifying EKG abnormalities related to pacing reflection.Utilize EPIC to access patient information and update referral data.Train patients on the proper use of transmitting devices and address their questions.Identify ECG abnormalities to troubleshoot pacemaker malfunctions.Anticipate potential pacemaker system failures before they pose a risk to patients.Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and ensure exceptional patient care.REQUIREMENTS :
Completion of an accredited ECG course with emphasis on arrhythmia interpretation and pacemaker follow-up.Current BLS / CPR certification.Minimum of 1 year of hospital or clinical cardiology experience preferred.Knowledge of cardiac pacing in a clinical setting.Familiarity with NASPE / HRS pacemaker codes, such as the NBG Coding System.Basic knowledge of AICDs.Experience in cardiac surveillance and halter monitoring is preferred.Ability to work independently without supervision.J-18808-Ljbffr
