We are looking for a detail-oriented AP / AR Clerk to join our team in Roseland, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity within the real estate and property industry.

Responsibilities :

  • Review, validate, and process invoices and payment requests with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain organized vendor files and ensure all transaction records are up-to-date.
  • Prepare and execute check runs, electronic payments, and wire transfers.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on unresolved items to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding payment issues.
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies and accounting standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with vendors and team members.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and financial record-keeping practices.
