Start your day excited to make a difference and end it knowing you did! We are seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse for PRN night shifts at Mary Washington Healthcare in Saint Charles. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative healthcare team and provide patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

Direct and coordinate nursing care, overseeing both licensed and unlicensed personnel.
Engage patients and families in care planning and discharge processes.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient care plans.
Assist in defining standards of excellence for patient care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the orientation of new staff members.
Act as a resource for hospital and departmental policies for nursing staff.
Participate in daily operational activities to ensure a safe environment.
Provide input to the Nurse Manager on unit needs and participate in committees.

What You'll Bring

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least two years of RN experience.

Valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.

BSN preferred.

AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.

AHA ACLS Provider certification required within 6 months.

NIHSS (Bluecloud) certification required within 90 days.
