The Deputy Engineer Leader (DEL) supports, participates in, and leads projects / programs while building client trust and validating a world class solution. The DEL leads engineering best practices across several disciplines and has experience with coaching and mentoring concepts and methods.

Responsibilities

• Leading complex technical discussions, projects, and / or programs.
• Validating world class technical solutions on projects.
• Ensuring engineering best practices are followed across multiple engineering and solution disciplines.
• Managing technical risk on a project.
• Providing oversight, direction, and technical expertise to engineering teams on a project.
• Leading an engineering discipline to develop new and upcoming engineers and technical experts.
• Preparing client-specific solutions.
• Driving the development and maintenance of project artifacts that are required to ensure success for a project.
• Identifying, recommending, and implementing work process improvements.
• Reviewing technical project details with project leadership.
• Managing the integration of data from multiple company systems and analyzing the data to draw insights on project technical solution.
• Ensuring safety regulations are adhered to and issues identified and resolved.
• Maintaining a positive, assertive relationship with project engineers to achieve project milestones and overall project success.
