Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Route Planning : Develop and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
• Communication : Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide updates, address issues, and ensure compliance with schedules.
• Problem Resolution : Quickly and effectively address any challenges that may arise during transportation, such as delays, detours, or mechanical issues.
• Documentation : Keep accurate records of shipments, including delivery times, delays, and any incidents that may occur.
• Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, including logistics, maintenance, and customer service, to streamline operations.
• Provide timely and accurate communication to customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issues.
• Compliance : Ensure that all transportation activities comply with Local, State, and Federal regulations.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
