Our client, a leading Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate with 4 to 7 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring to join its Bankruptcy Business Reorganization Practice Group. This position is available in either its Boston or New York office.

Key Experience Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, ideally at an Am Law 100 / 200 firm.
• Strong skills in legal writing, research, oral advocacy, and litigation.
• Prior clerkship with a U.S. Bankruptcy Court or federal court is advantageous but not necessary.
• Experience representing various stakeholders, including debtors, creditors, trustees, committees, noteholders, bidders, and acquirers in Chapter 11 and other insolvency matters.
• Proficiency in inter-creditor issues, corporate trust, and distressed transactions.

Membership to the Bar in either MA or NY (or eligibility to waive in) is required. We seek candidates with 4 to 7 years of experience post law school graduation.
