SUMMARY : UnderthedirectionoftheProgramManager,supervisorsareresponsibleforthe coordinationandapprovalofclinicalservicesoftheTherapeutic BehavioralServicescoaches,overseeing coachestodeliverappropriateandethicalmentalhealthservicesandinterventionsinaccordance with countycontracts, targetedgoalsandNewHaven'sstandards, procedures,andpractices.
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Conductfunctionalassessments,analyzeinformation,andevaluate newcasesand / orrevise treatmentplanswhennecessary,inaccordancewithcountyandagencyrequirementsandpractices.
2.Distributereferredcasestocoachesinaccordancewithprogramobjectivesandgoals, assuringthatparents,program liaisons,andcoachesreceivequalitycustomerserviceandtimelyfollowup regardingassignment,treatmentneeds,andprogressofservices.
3.Scheduleandsupervisecoachesfordeliveryofservices,developingandoverseeingintervention strategiesasneededandasdeterminedbytheplandocumentsandanalyses,toensurethatallservicesare effective,appropriate,professional,documented,delivered, andwithinprogram requirements / guidelines.
4.Oversee training and performance of coaches, coordinating meetings and approvingdocumentation ofalltreatmentcasenotesand administration functionsassociated with related recordkeeping(billings,timesheets,performance appraisals)inaccordancewithNewHaven administrativeprocessesandproceduresaswellascontractedcounty&governmentalguidelines.
5.Coordinateandconductweeklyclinicalsupervisionofactivecoaches,securingeducationaland clinicaloversiteandcontrolinitiativesforhighstandardsofqualifytoallservices.
6.Liaison with New Haven staff, other treatment team members,parents, etc. to maintainprofessionalandpositive relationsandtomarketourTBSservice asindicated,additionallyutilizingandreviewingcustomersatisfactionsurveystoevaluateprogramsuccessesand / or concerns.
7.WorkwithRiversideCountyTBSLiaisonandLACountyTBSLiaisonintheareasofservice authorizations,audits,weeklyservice report(Riverside),quarterlyservicereport(Riverside), trainings(asassigned)andQuarterlymeetings(Riverside,asassigned)
8.Participateininterviewingandhiringofcoachesasneeded.
9.Provide otheradministrativeand / orsupervisoryresponsibilitiesasassigned.
QUALIFICATIONREQUIREMENTS :
Required : Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, PsyD, LMFT, LPCC).Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline and at least 2 years of experience working with youth and their families, is required.
Superiorverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsrequiredwiththeabilitytoanalyzecomplexmathandtodelivereffectivetraining / supervisorydiscussions.Abilityto supervise,educate,andmotivatea professionalgroupofcoacheswithvaryinglevelsofclinicalexperiencerequiredaswellastheabilitytointeractwellwithothers,understandingandfollowingrulesanddirectionsfromsupervisor. Mustbeabletoacceptconstructivecriticismandtocontributetoanenvironmentfreeofharassmentandwithoutunlawfuldiscrimination.MustbeabletoworkunderstressMustalsopossessa vehicleandhaveademonstratedsafedrivinghistorytotravelwithincountiesrelativetocaseassignments.
