As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting with security-related inquiries. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter potential incidents and supports a welcoming atmosphere. You will utilize your communication skills and attention to detail to manage access control and badge procedures, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. Pay Rate : $19.70 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeFri03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PMSat03 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the premises, verifying identification and credentials as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency services and management.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff with security-related tasks and information as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
