As an Associate Network Engineer, you will contribute to the design, installation, and maintenance of Epicor's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting network-related issues, maintaining data connections and devices, and ensuring documentation and procedures are up to date. We are seeking applicants with foundational knowledge in network technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to help drive reliable and secure connectivity across the organization.

What you will be doing :

  • Perform maintenance of data connections and network devices, including restoring hardware and services
  • Provide support for network-related issues using established solutions and escalate high-level concerns as needed
  • Administer end-user configurations and assist in monitoring network performance, reporting issues proactively
  • Ensure documentation is current and follow standard procedures to maintain consistency and compliance

What you will likely bring :

  • 1+ years of experience with LAN, WAN, and security technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco, SonicWall (highly preferred) and IPSec VPNs; experience with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and automation is desirable
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification / experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • Demonstrated expertise in IT and foundational knowledge of network infrastructures including firewalls, VPNs, WAN architectures, DNS, wireless, and security systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting system-wide issues including applications, networks, and virus mitigation
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach with the ability to build solid working relationships across functions and with external partners
