Compensation : $180,000 - $210,000 + Bonus + Equity

You'll partner directly with the CFO, executive leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive accuracy, compliance, and process excellence in financial reporting - while gaining exposure to complex transactions, acquisitions, and investor communications.

Your Impact as Director of SEC Reporting

As the Director of SEC Reporting , you will :

Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements

Draft and review financial statement footnotes, MD&A, and related disclosures

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404 internal controls

Research and interpret complex accounting areas such as ASC 606 revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, and business combinations

Collaborate with auditors, legal counsel, and leadership on reviews and technical matters

Support post-acquisition integration into consolidated reporting

Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline SEC reporting cycles using automation tools such as Workiva or Wdesk

Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and FP&A on disclosure and communication initiatives

Provide training and technical guidance to internal accounting and finance teams

Qualifications

Required :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA designation required

10+ years of experience in SEC reporting, either in-house or through public accounting

Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance

Proven success managing complex filings under tight deadlines

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred :

Experience within SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments

Familiarity with M&A integration and consolidation processes

Hands-on experience with SEC reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, Wdesk)

Strong communication and executive presentation skills
