Role Overview / Responsibilities

If hired, you will work as part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively like no other. We share ideas and insight, support each other, and uphold the highest levels of professionalism and client care. We are implementing a Silo staffing structure in which the Legal Assistant would support 4-5 Attorneys, 2 Paralegals, Intake, and the Front desk.

• Manage and coordinate daily attorneys calendar schedules of internal / external meetings, case schedules, in-person and web hearing confirmations across multiple counties, prioritize need basis
• Perform weekly calendar sweeps for attorneys' hearings in your team
• Provide support to Attorneys and Paralegals on case specific workload
• Obtain, organize, track physical files and review including discovery documents
• Conduct routine pending file system checks
• Ensures maintenance of public disclosure requests
• Facilitate Post Disposition procedures, including archiving
• Monitor, assist, and process with matters related to DUI and driving related discovery
• Back up to front desk duties, answering / redirecting phone calls, take notes (shared with other Legal Assistants)
• Back up to Intake (shared with other Legal Assistants)
• Perform other duties as assigned
