Lead Bartender

Position Summary :

The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing the bar operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of beverage quality. This role involves managing the bar team, coordinating with other staff, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership :

Supervise and lead a team of bartenders and bar staff.

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty cocktails.

Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

Oversee the bar's daily operations, including opening and closing duties.

Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages and bar supplies.

Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.

Ensure adherence to local and state liquor laws and regulations.

Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and private parties.

Train staff on bartending techniques, customer service, and safety protocols.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications :

Extensive experience as a bartender, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

In-depth understanding of local and state liquor laws.

Energetic, outgoing, and able to create a positive and engaging environment.
