Babbitt Tech - 1st shift Direct Hire

Job Description :

I have an opening for our Babbitt Tech position.

This needs to be someone willing to work in a harsh environment.

It gets hot in this area during summer.

Candidates must be able to work independently, be a problem solver and be responsible.

They will utilize hand tools, tape measures, and grinders.

Preferably someone that has foundry experience, possibly in a lead role.

Duties will include : melting out parts, use of oxy / acetalene torches, sand blasting, assembling parts, picking out fixtures, directing if fixtures need to be modified, casting of parts using 600 F tin tank and pouring 800 F babbitt.

1st shift position with overtime available. Must be available to work Saturdays.

Potential for becoming the lead person in this department.

Starting wage : $20 - $25 pending skills
