EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NECESSARY : WWAY News, the ABC, CBS and CW affiliate serving coastal North Carolina, is looking for an experienced Meteorologist to join our team for our morning and noon newscasts. These shows are driven by both personality and content, and we’re looking for someone who can bring energy, creativity, and a strong on-air presence to our anchor team.

What You’ll Do :

• Deliver engaging, forecast-driven weathercasts in a conversational, easy-to-understand style
• Develop innovative ways to showcase our Baron Lynx weather system
• Track and communicate developing or severe weather with confidence, often independently
• Contribute to a collaborative newsroom culture

What We’re Looking For :

Forecasting here is never boring, from hurricanes and severe thunderstorms to sunny summer afternoons, and yes, even the occasional snow or ice storm. You’ll have the chance to improve your skills while living, working, and playing at the beach.
