Experience in cost accounting in manufacturing environments is a plus. Experience with US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting. Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries is a plus. This position includes manufacturing and office work; physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, lifting more with a lift assist, climbing stairs, and using hands for handling parts / equipment. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, depth, and peripheral vision.

Base pay range
$100,000.00 / yr - $140,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting department employees and be responsible for monthly closing, annual report, billing, collections, budget preparation, and analysis.
- Oversee routine accounting tasks such as inventory management, tax auditing, assets accounting, and maintaining ledger charts.
- Meet accounting and financial objectives.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business activity reports.
- Cost accounting and cost-benefit analysis.
- Review all insurance renewals including health insurance, workers' compensation, and liability insurance; negotiate with insurance providers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to increase productivity and maintain strong relationships.
