Overview
We are actively seeking an Information Systems Analyst to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position will work out of one of our facility locations, although some work may be performed remotely. Come join our team!
Responsibilities
- Work with end-users to analyze, identify, recommend, and apply opportunities to improve applications and processes
- Develop reports and automation solutions that streamline business processes
- Build visualization and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various departments across the company (Sales, Production, Project, Purchasing, etc.)
- Provide support and training to end-users on different business systems used by the company
- Help identify user requirements, find existing solutions, and propose new solutions
- Query and analyze large pools of data to bring insight to process stakeholders
- Test and evaluate compatibility and integration of new and existing systems as assigned
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalentPrefer at least 1-2 years of experience in a role performing similar responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAble to analyze, define and understand business processesRequires an intermediate level of knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); some exposure and knowledge of PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, etc. is preferredKnowledgeable in and experience writing reports in tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports, Excel, or similar applications; experience writing scripts to automate processes (VB Script, Excel macros, PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Flow, Access, etc.); basic understanding of object-oriented programming is preferredComfortable collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on visualizations, and ensure usability and clarityUnderstanding the roles of sales orders, purchase orders, production orders, bills of material, production routes, invoices, inventory, etc. within a business process context; ERP system experience is preferredPrefer experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or other similar database applicationsCreative and able to think creatively to find solutionsAble to research using available resources (Google, blogs, etc.)Capable of multitasking in an environment of changing priorities while meeting project deadlinesCommitted to and able to produce positive and effective results in customer service and end-user experiencesEffective verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and ability to analyze and apply solutionsAbility to travel for business domestically and internationally infrequently as requestedAdditional skills
Able to connect to diverse data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, D365, AX 2012) and transform data using Power Query and DAXSkilled in building data models with appropriate relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures to reflect business logicExperience implementing row-level security, parameterized reports, and scheduled data refreshesFamiliar with publishing to and managing content in the Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, and sharing permissionsMicrosoft Office productivity software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, ProjectExperience writing scripts to automate processes (VB Script, Excel macros, PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Flow, Access, etc.)Basic understanding of object-oriented programmingKnowledge of ERP systemsCompensation range is $75,000-100,000 (dependent on experience)
