We are seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join our team in Lenoir, NC, at UNC Caldwell, a member of the UNC Health System. The position offers a balanced schedule with 4-5 clinic days per week, an inpatient / outpatient focus, and a supportive call schedule of 1 : 3 or better. The new state-of-the-art Heart Center is set to open in 2025, enhancing our capabilities for cardiac care in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains region.

General Cardiologist Needed in Beautiful Western, NC

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in Caldwell County, NC. Our 137-bed licensed acute care hospital includes 110 medical and 27 psychiatric is a member of the UNC Health System. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. UNC Physicians Network provides the majority of primary care and select specialty care to the surrounding market from thirteen separate medical park locations throughout the county. The Caldwell team is seeking a general medical cardiologist.

General Description :

Full-time, 4-5 clinic days per week; Inpatient / Outpatient with 1 : 3 Call Schedule or better
UNC Heart & Vascular- 322 Mulberry Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 with long-term plans for a satellite location in Granite Falls, NC.
Cardiac rehab is currently housed in the clinic with plans to expand to another site and add a pulmonary component.
A brand new, state of the art, Heart Center will be open in 2025 and will be attached to the hospital with pre / post patient bays.
Staff : employs 1.5 physicians and 1 APP, 1 local general cardiologist and 1 local electrophysiologist also practice at UNC Caldwell. We are actively recruiting a vascular surgeon.
