Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 12-hour day shift assignment requiring a NH or compact RN license and current BLS / ACLS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Emergency Department with an annual ER volume of approximately 33,000 visits
  • Main ER includes 21 beds and a 6-bed Minor Care (Fast Track) area
  • Includes Minor Emergency Care Unit, triage, critical care, and trauma care responsibilities
  • 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 30 p.m.
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Responsible for providing care across all ER units including critical, trauma, and minor emergencies
  • Pass / fail testing required for Telemetry / ECG and Medication Tests (for specified campuses)
  • Must clear onboarding requirements by the Wednesday before the start date
  • Teamwork with ER staff and engagement in a high-acuity environment
  • Scrub color or dress code details not specified

  • Active NH or compact state RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Department nursing experience
  • MA RN license required if applicable
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster, and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
  • Must live at least 50 miles away; no local candidates accepted
  • Previous employees must have a 6-month separation from the health system before consideration
