Job Summary

Reporting to the Head Coach, this role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the program, to include, but not limited to; on-court / field coaching in practices / matches / games / competitions, conditioning, contest preparation, scouting, practice planning and execution, supervision of team travel, and monitoring the personal, academic and athletic development of student athletes in their program. A key area of responsibility is to assist in the implementation of the program's recruiting plan to attract student-athletes with strong character and an academic profile that aligns with the mission of Occidental College and Occidental Athletics.

Job Duties

• 50% - Coaching – practice execution, contest preparation, help manage program equipment and gear, and supervision of team travel. - (Essential)
• 25% - Recruiting – helping to execute an effective recruiting plan, including working collaboratively with the Admission's office. - (Essential)
• 25% - Developing Student-Athletes - support the academic and personal growth of student-athletes. - (Essential)
